Place: Yekaterinburg, the largest industrial center of the Urals
From March 17 to 20, 2025, Yekaterinburg hosted the specialized exhibition "Metallurgy. LITMASH. Metal structures". This event became an important platform for demonstrating modern technologies, equipment and materials in the field of metallurgy and the foundry industry. The metallurgical complex of Russia ranks second in terms of production volume, second only to the central part of the country. This year, the exhibition became one of the largest specialized projects in the regions, presenting 48,000 m² of exhibition space and many brands.
Current trends in metallurgy
Today, Russia is experiencing a steady increase in demand for metallurgical equipment and technologies. This is due to the high level of investment in heavy industry and the need for import substitution in strategically important sectors of the economy. The foundry industry, which provides more than 60% of blanks and castings for key areas such as mechanical engineering, aircraft manufacturing and automotive manufacturing, is actively modernizing. This modernization creates favorable conditions for the development of new production facilities and the introduction of advanced technologies. Exhibitions of this kind play a key role in providing the industry with information on the latest achievements and trends, contributing to its further development.
